Derek Laczniak is an Insurance Consultant, speaker, and founder of The Wolf of Property Casualty, where he empowers insurance professionals and organizations through producer coaching, complex claims management, insurance program audits, and RFP expertise.
Insurance isn’t just his career it’s in his blood. Derek grew up in a family of brokers and later graduated with honors from a top Risk Management program. He spent 15 years with M3 Insurance Solutions, a Top 60 U.S. firm, leading group program development and advising clients with intricate Property & Casualty and Cyber Liability needs. Derek became partner at just 28 years old and routinely ranked among the company’s top producers.
Today, he channels that experience into advancing the industry: sharpening the next generation of producers, helping clients navigate risk with confidence, and making insurance feel a lot less overwhelming.
At home, Derek is happiest with his wife, Kelsey, and their son, Maxwell. Outside the office, you’ll find him on the golf course, at the local pool, or enjoying a great film.
